Rachel's Photography/Art Project

Rachel used an old wooden violin case to create her project. By the time she was finished it looked pretty good. She earned an A.

Bunny in the Yard

On our way home from school on May 26 Rachel and I noticed this cute bunny sitting in our yard as we turned in the driveway. I hurried in the house and managed to get these pictures before it hopped away.

A Birthday and Bible Study....

May 16, 2009....the TRUe Girls go out to eat and bring along the husbands. I'm unaware that my birthday is also part of the evening. David was shooting this one.....he and I both are Flip video novices as you tell....don't get too dizzy as the camera flies around. :)

After eating we headed over to Duncan and Deborah's. I really must remember not to turn the video camera like a still camera......all I end up with is a sideways video. Oh well.....turn your laptop sideways if need be. Turn up the sound if you need to as well. At the end of the video you hear me telling David he's done and can have some cake. :0

While the girls kicked off their new Bible study.....Conversation Peace by Mary Kassian, the boys played video games upstairs....I thought the background music was appropriate for the race competition.

The 20th Anniversary of my 27th Birthdiay

These are pictures from our TRUe Girls dinner to kick off our new Bible study.....it also because a little surprise birthday gathering for me.

We took some video with our Flip video camera that I got for my birthday. These are still images I isolated from the video.

I loaded them into the post wrong, so you are seeing them from the end to the beginning.

Oh well...

This is an image of me telling David he is now done and can turn off the camera. :)

I'm showing off the lovely journal book Barbara and Allen gave me.

Donna, Blake, and Allen....Allen is telling me my present is from Bass Pro Shops while I'm unwrapping it.
Reading Barbara and Allen's card. Tweetie is beside me.

I'm seeing how my new necklace will look that the girls gave me. My friend Julie had made it and had it for sale at the church craft show that very day. I had actually looked at the necklace/earring set and had thought about buying it.

Licking the frosting off my candles...the number "two" and "seven"....Don't I look 27?

It actually took a few tries for me to blow the candles out....there were only two. I didn't want to spit on the cake.

Allen's waiting on cake.

My cake.....raspberry elegance from Publix. David bought the cake and took it to Duncan and Deborah's without me knowing it.
