During Mom and Dad's trip to Virginia Beach after Matthew was born Dad became very interested in an old home there known as the Francis Land House. He became very interested in our family history from that point on and thanks to him my children now know for certain who is who back at least eight generations. 
The docents were really interested in getting to talk with a bona fide "Land".
Daddy, of course, had a great time with the costumed ladies......
Rachel and Buck went along on the trip as well. This trip was sometime after 1990
